November 2025 – Congratulations to Ishita Pushkarna who successfully defended her PhD thesis in public on 20 November 2025. Ishita developed a very effective technique to exfoliate large area monolayers of transition metal dichalcogenides on Au(111) and investigate their unique electronic properties using scanning tunneling microscopy.
